Louise has more than 20 years’ experience in the communications sector; spanning media strategy, crisis management, event planning, internal communications, digital and social media management, executive speech-writing, and a breadth of roles across corporate, trade and consumer PR.

For the past 12 years, she has run her own consultancy, Prior PR Ltd, specialising in travel and lifestyle clients including STA Travel, Travel Republic, Voyage Privé.

Alongside Prior PR, Louise was most recently European PR director for CLIA, Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) with responsibility across the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, and BeNeLux.

Before taking her first PR role at lastminute.com as head of travel PR, Louise was a journalist. She spent more than five years as a news reporter on travel trade title TTG, and her local newspaper before this.

Her experience as a journalist, puts her in a unique position as a PR professional. It means she knows which questions the press is likely to ask ahead of time, and reacts quickly and effectively under pressure.
